Operation Junction City, Feb 1967. The US Army conducts search and destroy missions in the iron triangle, near Saigon against the VC. May 6,7 2011 Big Lake- This is a themed game, there are NO uniform or weapon restrictions, If you have a Nam uniform (US/ NVA, etc) or part of one please wear it. If you haven't seen my post in the Vietnam section, I am starting a team based on the 1st ID , The Big Red One. So this game will serve also as a guage of interest in MN Namsoft hardcore games. If need be, red and blue armbands or duct tape will be used for ID purposes. Mortars or any other heavy weapons are acceptable . No weapon rentals here. Hi cap mags are fine to use. Smoke grenades and pyro may be used. Rules for MOA games will be used, (http://www.ostfrontairsoft.com) and will be read before game time. Each side will be broken down into 8-12 man squads, and will be led by the most experienced players. Participants may camp overnight. If there are enough players camping out overnite, I will organize an additional game for late evening /dusk on Friday. Chrono and registration start at 8am Saturday, Scenarios start at 9am and will run to 4pm. Players 14-17 will need a parent or guardian signature at the time of registration. Lunch time and length will be determined by a vote of participants. Gate fee $25. Ages 14 and up. Any airsoft team, association or individuals are welcome. Sides will be set up on game day. PM or reply to thread if interested. The site address is 22615 Co Rd 75, Big Lake and is 150 acres. Please note the following, 1. the bridge over County Road 5/ Eagle Lake Road is GONE, a new one is replacing it, but it won't be replaced until July. You will have to detour on County road 43, or County Road 11. 2. I have decided to add a swap meet to this event also. There is indoor space for 10+ 8 foot tables, there is no additional charge to bring items for sale. 3. There will be a live fire demonstration of MP-40 and MG 42 fully automatic weapons.
